Flood Watch Declared in Fair Lawn, Saddle Brook
The remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea may cause some flooding in the area.

The Fair Lawn Office of Emergency Management advised residents to prepare for the remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea Friday.
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning Friday evening lasting until 12:45 a.m. Saturday. Any flooding will happen slowly and not flahs floods are expected, according to the warning.

The service also issued a flash flood watch for Bergen County until Saturday afternoon. According to the OEM, the heaviest rain was expected between 3 and 9 p.m. Friday. Wind gusts may also reach 30 miles per hour.
The storm may bring 5 inches or more of rain to New Jersey. OEM officials warned residents to expect flash floods on local roads.

Fair Lawn Rescue Squad Chief Peter Yuskaitis said they had made sure all their equipment was ready to go if needed.
"I'm hoping the river stays down, Yuskaitis said. "We're prepared if anything does happen."
