FAIR LAWN, NJ — Fair Lawn students' SAT scores rank in the top half of the average scores across New Jersey, information released by the New Jersey Department of Education shows.
The average SAT score in Fair Lawn for the 2017-18 school year was 1174, or 61st highest in New Jersey out of 307 districts.
For the math portion of the exam, Fair Lawn's average score was 593, good for 55th highest.

The reading and writing portion, the average Fair Lawn score was 581, or 67th highest in New Jersey.
The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2017-18 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores.
