Sunrise Rotary to Hold 11th Annual First Day 5K Race
The run/walk will begin at 11 a.m. at Memorial Middle School in Fair Lawn.

The Sunrise Rotary Club of Fair Lawn will hold its 11th annual First Day 5K Run and 3K Family Walk on Jan. 1, 2013. Check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Middle School in Fair Lawn. The 5K Run/Family Walk will officially begin at 11 a.m.
Proceeds raised from the race will go to benefit a number of Rotary’s charitable causes, including Hurricane Sandy relief, support for soldiers overseas, the Gift of Life program, and many local charities and non-profit organizations in and around Fair Lawn.
The Fair Lawn Borough Council and Green Team, led by Councilwoman Lisa Swain, will also be using the race as an opportunity to kick off their “ONE Pound at a Time” fitness, conservation, and sustainability program for 2013.
