Weather Service Issues Another Flood Watch
The National Weather Service warned of potential flooding in Bergen County Thursday through Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service issued the third flood watch in a week for Bergen County and much of the tri-state area Wednesday.
The watch lasts from Thursday morning through Saturday morning.
The NWS has predicted between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain will fall in the area, though some spots could see as much as 5 inches, potentially causing flooding in small streams and even rivers could reach their banks.

The Fair Lawn Office of Emergency Management also advised residents that wind gusts could hit 30 or 40 miles per hour during the storm and minor tidal flooding of 1 to 2 feet is expected.
Last Friday, rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea caused the first flood watch.
