Week Ahead: Board Trustee Appointment, CPR Class, Clothing Drive for Sandy

• Monday, Feb. 4 -- 

1. The Saddle Brook Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. in Room 120 of the High School/Middle School. The meeting is being convened to select a new board member to replace Christopher Winne, who stepped down last month.
2. The Fair Lawn Planning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. to memorialize the resolution for Landmark at Radburn, LLC. You can see the meeting agenda here.
3. The Saddle Brook Zoning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. at town hall, located at 93 Market Street.

• Tuesday, Feb. 5 -- 

1. The Fair Lawn borough council will hold a work session at 7:30 p.m. in Room 201 of the Municipal Building. Click here for a work session agenda.

• Wednesday, Feb. 6 - 

1. Temple Beth Sholom, located at 40-25 Fair Lawn Avenue, will be holding a movie night featuring, “Welcome to Kutsher’s: The Last Catskills Resort.” There is a minimum donation of $5.00 that will be donated to Sandy Relief Fund.

• Thursday, Feb. 7 - 

1. The Fair Lawn Public Library is hosting Don Torino, president of Bergen County Audubon at 7 p.m., to to this area and what can be done to protect them.

• Friday, Feb. 8 - 

1. Free blood pressure screenings will be performed at the Fair Lawn Senior Center from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
2. The Old Library Theatre's second annual one-act play festival opens at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

• Saturday, Feb. 9 -  

1. The Fair Lawn High School girls lacrosse team is holding a clothing drive for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts at 12-17 Bellair Ave, beginning at 9 a.m. For more information on what is being collected and how to bag it, click here (This event has been rescheduled due to the blizzard).
2. An adult/pediatric CPR class is being held from noon to 3 p.m. by trained instructors from the Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps. Registration is $10.
3. The Old Library Theatre's second annual one-act play festival opens at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

• Sunday, Feb. 10 - 

1. The Fair Lawn Public Library will be " starring Denzel Washington, at 1:30 p.m.
2. The final production of the Old Library Theatre's second annual one-act play festival opens at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.
