  • Monday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) -- 
  1. Saddle Brook township offices are closed.
  2. Fair Lawn borough offices are open.
  3. Both Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook public schools are closed for winter recess
  • Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas) -- 
  1. Saddle Brook township offices are closed.
  2. Fair Lawn borough offices are closed.
  3. Both Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook public schools are closed for winter recess
  • Wednesday, Dec. 26 - 
  1. Both Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook public schools are closed for winter recess
  2. Holiday garbage collection: Fair Lawn Section 4 will have garbage collected.
  3. The Saddle Brook Fire Department will be holding its annual community blood drive from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30pm at Engine Company 1 Firehouse, on the corner of Cambridge Avenue and Saddle River Road.
  • Thursday, Dec. 27 - 
  1. Both Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook public schools are closed for winter recess
  2. Holiday garbage collection: Fair Lawn Section 1 will have its Commingle collected.

  • Sunday, Dec. 30 - 
  1. The Jets (6-9) head to Buffalo to take on the Bills at 1 p.m.
  2. After another tough loss, the Giants' (8-7) are all but eliminated from playoff contention barring a post-Christmas miracle. They face Philadelphia at 1 p.m.
