Inaugural YMCA Flying Leprechaun Fun Run Coming to Warminster Park
YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties and Warminster Twp Parks and Rec present the 1-mile fun run for youth age 12 and under March 9 at 10AM

YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties and Warminster Township Parks and Recreation present the inaugural Flying Leprechaun Fun Run, a 1-mile race designed exclusively for children and youth up to age 12 at Warminster Community Park at 300 Veterans Way on March 9 at 10AM.
Between the 1940s and 1993, the historic naval base right in the heart of Warminster Township was in full flight. Fast forward 21 years later, a little magic and a whole lot of luck is about to happen. This time the community’s youth earn their wings and become Flying Leprechauns as they run, walk, crawl or stroll their way to the finish line, which takes place on what was once the runway for NAVY airships.
All participants receive an inaugural long sleeve race shirt, finisher's medal, and post-race refreshments. Leprechaun costumes are encouraged, and a family-friendly post-race celebration will take place at the runway finish line, known as the Pot-of-Gold Runway Party. Activities include bounce house, face painting, make-your-own Leprechaun traps, bracelet making, and more! 100% of race proceeds supports the YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties financial assistance program.
