First-Time Classic Car Show To Roll Into Fort Lee This Weekend

A free, inaugural car show, featuring more than 100 curated cars, is scheduled on Fort Lee's Main Street this Saturday.

FORT LEE, NJ β€” From vintage classics to advanced, high-performing vehicles, a collection of more than 100 cars curated by Bergen County Cars and Caffe, a community of self-described "car crazy" individuals, will be lining Fort Lee's Main Street on Saturday, the organization said on Facebook.

Hosted by the Business District Alliance of Fort Lee, the inaugural, free "Concours on the Palisades Car Show" is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, in order to celebrate the ultimate in classic, exotic and luxury cars, the alliance said on its website.

Registered cars will place in one of the following classes for judging and awards: British, Italian, German, Scandinavian, American, Japanese, Korean and Vintage (pre-1980). Judges will be experts and restoration specialists recognized by automotive writers, and officiates from other Concours events, the website said.

Food will be available for purchase from The Pit Stop, an outdoor food market featuring culinary delights from local chefs, and the food hub on The Pit Lane, aka Main Street.

Metered parking β€” $10 for the day β€” will be located at the Guntzer Street Municipal Parking Lot.
