Five Things This Week: BOE, Public Hearings, Shakespeare and More
A quick look at five just some of what's going on in Fort Lee this week.

Below is a quick look at five things you should know about this week and/or might not want to miss:
Number one:
The Fort Lee Board of Education meets Monday for its regular business meeting at 8 p.m. in the School No. 1 library.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is holding one of nine public hearings on its proposed toll hike plan for the George Washington Bridge and other Hudson River crossings in Fort Lee Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the George Washington Bridge Administration Building located at 220 Bruce Reynolds Blvd.
Number three:
If public hearings are not your thing, or the event gets out in time, or you feel like skipping out early, and you’re a Shakespeare buff, head on over to Tuesday by 7:30 p.m., when the Hudson Shakespeare Company performs the final play of Fort Lee’s “Shakespeare in the Park” series this summer, Tymon of Athens.
A repeat performance of Tymon of Athens will be offered at the park next Tuesday, Aug. 23, to wrap up the season. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. and are canceled in the event of rain. Don’t forget your bring blankets and lawn chairs because seating is extremely limited.
Number four:
On Thursday, the Fort Lee Mayor and Council will hold its monthly regular meeting at 8 p.m. in Borough Hall’s Council Chambers.
Copies of the agenda for the meeting will be available at Borough Hall by Wednesday afternoon and on the borough’s website when the meeting day gets a little closer.
Number Five
Fort Lee's annual Movies and Music Under the Stars continues Saturday when the music at the will be provided La Fuerza Positiva, and the movie will be Broadway Danny Rose (1984), starring Woody Allen, Mia Farrow and Nick “Apollo” Forte.
The movie portion of Saturday’s event is notable for a guest appearance by Forte.
Music is from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and the movies start at sunset. Programs will take place indoors in the event of rain.
