Looking to Get Out this weekend? Here are some places to go:

The clocks go forward this weekend and we lose an hour, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun! The days are getting longer, which means spring is near. Before making plans, check out these events:
1. Leonia Players' Guild Presents "High Society"
Where/When: Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m. Sunday, 3 p.m.; Civil War Drill Hall, 130 Grand Ave, Leonia
Why Go: Stage adaptation of one of Cole Porter's most beloved musicals "High Society." Hilarious romantic complications revolve around the bride-to-be, her parents, and a smitten tabloid reporter. Colorful production numbers capture all the magic of Cole Porter's timeless lyrics.

2. The Little Dog Who Laughed

3. Sugarloaf Crafts Festival
Where/When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Garden State Exhibit Center, 50 Atrium Drive, Somerset, NJ 08873; (732) 469-4000
Why Go: More than 250 top artisans displaying and selling their unique creations in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, home décor, furniture and home accessories, items for the garden, and photography. There will be interactive demonstrations and live entertainment.
Pricing: Tickets $9 ($7 if ordered on line). Children under 12 Free.
4. Build & Grow Project @ Lowe's: Shoot Around Basketball
Where/When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Lowe's, 2000 Bergen Town Center, Paramus
Why Go: An opportunity to hear your child say, “I built it!” Lowe’s helps build your child’s confidence with their Build and Grow clinics.

5. School House Rock Live
Where/When: Saturday, 1p.m.; Meadowlands Environmental Center, Two DeKorte Plaza, Lyndhurst
Why Go: Introduce your kids to the Emmy Award winning 1970s cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, science and politics through clever, tuneful songs as it comes to life on stage.

6. The New Meadowlands Market Grand Opening
Where/When: Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Timex Bubble 50 NJ 120, East Rutherford
Why Go: A shoppers dream come true with hundreds of vendors with thousands of unique items.

7. Illusionist Jason Bishop
Where/When: Saturday, 3 p.m.; Anna Ciccone Theater, Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus
Why Go: Voted “Best Performing Artist of the Year” by college campuses, America’s Hottest Illusionist, Jason Bishop, is doing cutting-edge illusions like no one ever before! Double Levitation, Plasma Illusion, and the chance to see magic performed up close will keep you on the edge of your seat.

8. Family Free for All @ Ridgewood YMCA
Where/When: Saturday, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Ridgewood YMCA, 112 Oak Street, Ridgewood.
Why Go: Come and enjoy pizza, arts & crafts camp, games, and a family swim.

19. Bergen County Historical Society:A Discussion Women’s Clothing during the American Revolution
Where/When: Saturday, 7 p.m.; Steuben House, Historic New Bridge Landing, 1201-1209 Main Street River Edge
Why Go: Learn what it really meant to get dressed in the second half of the eighteenth century and get a chance to see dresses that were recreated by Rebecca Field, a museum collections care professional whose research on women’s costumes will keep you captivated.

10. Maple Sugaring
Where/When: Sunday, 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.; Tenafly Nature Center, 313 Hudson Avenue, Tenafly
Why Go: Learn how to identify a maple tree. Discover the history of syrup making and how technology has changed the gathering of sap over the centuries. Check the tapped trees and boil down the sap to make fresh warm maple syrup. A sweet for all to taste!
Pricing: $5 per person for members; $10 per person for non members. Must pre-register at www.tenaflynaturecenter.org.
Where/When: Sunday, 3:30 p.m.; Tenafly Nature Center, 313 Hudson Avenue, Tenafly
Why Go: What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon enjoying the coming of spring with a guided walk along one of TNC’s trails with an Environmental Educator. Indulge your senses and enjoy a walk in a beautiful forest.
Pricing: Members are free; non-members $5 per person.
13. Bergen County St. Patrick's Day Parade
Where/When: Sunday, 2 p.m.; Parade begins at the National Guard Armory, Washington Avenue, Teaneck and proceeds north up Washington Avenue into Main Street in Bergenfield.
Why Go: Bagpipes and marching bands!
