Bergen Man Charged With Murder In Woman's Stabbing Death: Prosecutor

A Lodi man faces murder charges in the fatal stabbing of a woman in Leonia Saturday morning, the Bergen County Prosecutor said.

LEONIA, NJ — A Lodi man faces murder charges in the fatal stabbing of a woman in Leonia Saturday morning, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Leonia Police arrived at a residence on Grand Avenue just before 10 a.m. Saturday, after a 911 caller reported a stabbing. Officers found Alicia A. Arnone, 35, dead from "an apparent stab wound," Musella said.

Officials arrested Andrae Daniels, 39, of Lodi in connection with Arnone's death.

Daniels faces charges of first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, Musella said. He was transported to the Bergen County Jail.
