Teaneck Library: 'Steal Away' a one-woman show about a little known migration of African Americans at 10:30am. Teaneck Library, 840 Teaneck Road.

In honor of National Go Red Day, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. will present a Heart Healthy Wine Tasting event at the Women’s Club of Englewood, 187 Brinckerhoff Court, from 7pm-10pm.  The organization is asking for a $35 donation to attend and asking all guests to bring a non-perishable food item to support the Center for Food Action.

PIP “Closter Dock” Winter history hike with Eric Nelsen: Meet at Park Headquarters, Exit 2 off PIP, Alpine, at 10am. Hike is approximately 3 miles, 2 hours. The hike is moderate with some challenging slopes. Wear sturdy boots with good treads.

Music Memorabilia & Records Flea Market: If you’re a collector or aficionado then you’ll want to cross the bridge and go into New York City for this event. Collectors and nostalgia buffs can find old vinyl records of many different genres, concert posters, sheet music, photographs, magazines, books and much more. Mermaid Theater’s “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and Other Eric Carle Favorites at the Anna Ciccone Theater Bergen Community College: 50-minute show includes 3 of Eric Carle's familiar children's stories: Little Cloud, The Mixed-Up Chameleon, and The Very Hungary Caterpillar; each story told through the magic of fluorescent puppets and black light. Year of the Rabbit Family Workshop @ NJPAC: This pre-performance Family Workshop relates to NJPAC’s Family Time performance by Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company. In this workshop, led by choreographer-dancer Nai-Ni Chen, participants will learn the Ribbon Dance, which originated over 2,000 years ago and is widely regarded as the most representative Chinese folk dance.  NJPAC, One Center Street, Newark, NJ. 12:30pm.

Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company @ NJPAC: Flowing lines, twirling ribbons, Chinese dragons and the thunderous motion of martial arts come together in this colorful celebration of the Chinese New Year, which includes both traditional and contemporary music and dance. Dragon King – Tanglewood Marionettes at The Saddle River Valley Cultural Center: To celebrate the Chinese New Year, the beautifully handcrafted Tanglewood Marionettes showcase the adventures of the lost pearl under the sea and the many lives it crosses. Palisade Interstate Park Commission Guided Hike at Allison Park: Easy 2 mile guided hike with Christina Fehre at Allison Park featuring views of the George Washington Bridge. 10am. Allison Park, Englewood Cliffs off Hudson Terrace (immediately south of St. Peter's, entrance opposite DPW yard).

Animal Tracking Workshop at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center: For adults and children 8 and older. Take to the trails in search of the most common animals to the most elusive. Learn how animals make tracks, what other signs to look for, and make your very own track to take home as a souvenir. $7 per person for members, $10 non-members. 1pm.
