Man Arrested In Ridgefield Park On Drug Trafficking Charges
A 42-year-old man was arrested in Ridgefield Park on charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl, police said.
RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ β A 42-year-old Baltimore man was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl, following an investigation in Ridgefield Park, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a news release on Friday.
Carlos Francisco Olivar Gomez, an investigation found, was in possession of 15 pounds of suspected heroin and over 6 pounds suspected heroin in Ridgefield Park. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first court appearance, the prosecutor's office said.
Gomez was charged with first-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, specifically heroin, and second-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, specifically fentanyl, the prosecutor's office said.
