Man Leaves Injured Woman At Crash Scene, Turns Self In: Fairview Cops
A man turned himself in after he left the scene of a Fairview crash that caused injury to a woman, who was then hospitalized, police said.
FAIRVIEW, NJ — A man was charged after leaving the scene of a Fairview crash that caused injury to a female passenger, who was then hospitalized, police Lt. Robert J. Sabatino said.
The driver, Kyo Cho, 64, of Little Ferry, turned himself in to Fairview police on Tuesday and was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with an injured victim and assault by auto, along with several other motor vehicle infractions, Sabatino said.
The charges stem from incident that occurred late last week, when an Acura MDX crashed into a utility pole on the southbound side of Broad Avenue. The pole was broken in half, and Broad Avenue was shut down in both directions for several hours, police said.
