Redistricting to Move Fort Lee to 37th Legislative District
The borough will leave the 38th and join the 37th state legislative district following changes after the 2010 census

In November Fort Lee voters will no longer be casting their ballots for representatives in the 38th state legislative district. Instead, Fort Lee will be joining the 37th legislative district after new districting was announced Sunday by a bipartisan committee.Β
Petitions are due to the New Jersey Secretary of State on Monday, April 11 for those who are interested in running for office in the June primary.
Fort Lee will officially be represented by elected officials from the 37th district on the second Tuesday in January 2012, when all officials are sworn in.
