Seizure Of 30 Pounds Of Marijuana Leads To Arrest In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, NJ — A 34-year-old man was charged with distributing bulk amounts of marijuana through Bergen County, after police seized 30 pounds of the drug from his car in Ridgefield, County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Tenzin Kalsang, of Chicago, was arrested on a charge of first-degree possession of marijuana over 25 pounds with the intent to distribute, after a search of his car revealed packages of marijuana weighing a total of 30 pounds, the prosecutor's office said.

Kalsang was arrested on scene and remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first court appearance, the prosecutor's office said.
