Fort Lee voters will go to the polls next week—Wednesday, April 27—to elect three people to the Fort Lee Board of Education. Six candidates are running for three seats on the board.

They are—in the order in which they will appear on the ballot:

  1. Helen Yoon
  2. Michele Ramirez-Stux (Incumbent)
  3. Tracy Mattei
  4. Paul Umrichin
  5. Joe Surace (Incumbent)
  6. Peter Suh (Incumbent)

Voters will also vote yea or nay on the approximately $55 million 2011-2012 school budget next Wednesday. Once again, the budget vote and school board candidate election is April 27—a Wednesday this year.
