Irish Delegation Set To Join Freehold St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Attendees will be able to enjoy contests, food, music and more at the event.
FREEHOLD BOROUGH, NJ — A delegation from Rathangan & County Kildare, Ireland is set to join Freehold Borough for their St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16.
The parade will be hosted by the Freehold Borough Arts Council and take place on Main Street in Freehold. This year, the Parade Grand Marshal will be Tim MacCutcheon and the Community Grand Marshal will be Tommy Taylor.
The parade is set to begin at noon with the Grand Marshal Induction Ceremony at 62 West Main Street in front of the American Legion Freehold-Monmouth Post 54.

Following the ceremony, step-off will take place at 12:30 p.m., with parade paths running down Main Street and ending at Freehold Elks Lodge 1454 Point.

- Check-in at 68 West Main Street, in front of Columbia Bank (10:40 a.m.)
- Lineup on West Main (11:30 a.m.)
- Grand Marshal Induction Ceremony (12 p.m.)
- Step-Off (12:30 p.m.)
In addition to the parade, there will also be contests for Best Dressed Baby (under 3 y/o), Best Dressed Dog, Best Dressed Adult, Best Decorated Bicycle and Best Dressed Motorcycle.
Corned beef platters, sandwiches and beverages will be available at after-parties planned for Freehold Elks Lodge, Freehold Knights of Columbus and the American Hotel, where the Eddie Testa Band, Pat Guadagno & Richard Blackwell are set to perform.
Seating, food and simulcast live will be available in the Lenox Room.
