Olde Freehold Day To Take Place In August

Guests can enjoy art, food trucks, boat rides and more.

FREEHOLD, NJ — The Borough of Freehold will host Olde Freehold Day on August 3 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Lake Topanemus Park in Freehold.

Attendees can enjoy “olde fashioned family fun” with highlights such as food trucks, a beer garden, boat rides, a dunk tank and more, according to officials.

For families planning to attend Olde Freehold Day, there will be a free Kids Zone with a petting zoo, pony rides, a rock climbing wall and bouncy rides for kids to enjoy.

At 11:30 a.m., a special ceremony will take place at the park entrance honoring veterans.

Guests can also enjoy live music from The Eddie Testa Band, Step Aside, Glenn Lykes Music, DJ Kortez and Gathering of Tribes.

There will be no parking along Pond Road at Olde Freehold Day, according to officials. Attendees can instead park at the Monmouth County Courthouse back parking lots and take a shuttle from there.

Shuttles will run for free between the Court House parking lot and main gate throughout the day.

Lake Topanemus Park is located at Pond Rd, Freehold.
