FREEHOLD, NJ — Live radio shows are back in fashion at the Center Playhouse in Freehold on Friday.
The Classic Radio Road Show troupe will present "Blondie and Dagwood" and "My Favorite Husband" on Friday, May 26, at 8 p.m.

These classic radio show comedies feature live actors, props and special sound effects.
"My Favorite Wife" was first performed by Lucille Ball and Richard Denning in the 1940s, before her "I Love Lucy" television show.

Monmouth County's radio troupe, The Classic Radio Road Show Players, was founded in 2017 by Duane Noch of Middletown, one of the performers on Friday. The troupe offers live performances throughout the area.
