'Woman In Gold' Painting Subject Of Lecture At Freehold Twp. Museum
The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth will present a virtual lecture regarding Gustave Klimt's "The Woman in Gold."

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County will present a virtual lecture about Gustav Klimt's “The Woman in Gold” in October.
The talk will be led by Maurice Mahler on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. This program is available on Zoom only. Tickets are $10 for members, $12 for non-members. Upon registration, participants will be given a Zoom link.
Once stolen from a Jewish family in the run-up to World War II, the magnificent artwork had many owners until it found a permanent home. Learn how the painting was bought by Ronald Lauder, the son of Estee Lauder, for $130 million and is currently on display at the Neue Galerie Museum in Manhattan.

The museum is located at 310 Mounts Corner Drive, Freehold, 07728. It is located on the second floor of the historic Levi Solomon Barn, at the back of the Mounts Corner Shopping Center, Rt. 537 & Wemrock Road, Freehold Township
