1 Killed When Driver Crashes Into Concrete Barrier On Atlantic City Expressway: Police
A Bridgeton man died early Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on the Atlantic City Expressway, police said.
PLEASANTVILLE, NJ — A Bridgeton man was killed early Saturday when a car crashed into a concrete barrier on the Atlantic City Expressway, New Jersey State Police said.
Police were initially dispatched to the highway for a wrong-way driver at about 4:27 a.m. July 5, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron told Patch.
While en route, they found that the vehicle in question, a silver Infiniti, had crashed into the concrete barrier and toll reader support structure at milepost 4.1, Lebron said.

The driver, 23-year-old Bridgeton resident Diana Barrios-Ortiz, sustained minor injuries, Lebron said. Her passenger, 24-year-old David Salas, died in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation and no further information is available, Lebron said.
