2 New Stephen Starr Restaurants To Open In Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Award-winning restauranter Stephen Starr will be opening two new dining concepts at Ocean Casino Resort this summer.

This marks the Philadelphia native's return to Atlantic City after his previous locations closed in 2020.

“It feels like a full circle moment for me to work on restaurant projects in Atlantic City, a place where I formed some of my finest childhood memories, both at the beach and on America’s most popular boardwalk, where I worked as a teenager,” Starr said in a news release. “I’m excited to work with the team at Ocean Casino Resort to develop two new dining concepts this summer.”

Details on what the restaurants will serve were not available. They will open on the lobby floor of Ocean Casino Resort this summer, though a specific date was not shared.

Starr is the founder of STARR Restaurants, one of the largest multi-concept and independent restaurant groups in the country. He has opened restaurants in his hometown of Philadelphia as well as New York, Washington, D.C. and Florida. He has earned multiple honors, including “Restaurateur of the Year” from both Bon Appétit and Zagat and “Outstanding Restaurateur” from the James Beard Foundation.
