3 Seriously Injured In Head-On Crash Near Atlantic City Airport: Police
One person was airlifted and two taken to the hospital via ambulance after the Thursday head-on collision, police said.
HAMILTON TWP., NJ — Three people were seriously injured in a head-on crash near the Atlantic City Airport Thursday, the Township of Hamilton Police Department said.
The crash happened on Tilton Road in Hamilton shortly before 12 p.m. on Sept. 4.
A Mercedes driven by a 20-year-old Atlantic City woman was heading east when the car crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, police said. The car collided head-on with a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 66-year-old Egg Harbor City man, police said.

The man was airlifted to AtlantiCare - City Division, police said, while the woman and her passenger, a 30-year-old Atlantic City woman, were taken to the hospital via ambulance.
All three were seriously injured in the crash, police said.

Traffic was diverted for several hours as the crash was investigated.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Township of Hamilton Police Department.
