Italian Restaurant In Egg Harbor City To Close After 10 Years
Assaggio! Italian Restaurant & Bar announced that Saturday will be its last day open due to rising costs and staff shortages.
EGG HARBOR CITY, NJ — Assaggio! Italian Restaurant & Bar announced that it would open its doors for the last time on Saturday.
For the past 10 years the gourmet Italian restaurant has been serving homemade pasta, sauces and desserts.
The owner announced the closure Thursday on social media.

“We tried to navigate these challenging times without raising our prices," the owner wrote. "However, we can no longer weather these difficult times with rising costs and labor shortage. We do not want to compromise on the excellence we continue to seek to provide you.”
The letter continued, “I will truly miss the wonderful, loyal and caring guests/friends. I am truly blessed and thankful for these past 10 years in this beautiful community and proud of the quality of food and service we were able to provide all of you.”
