Atlantic City Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Wounded: Police
An Atlantic City man was killed Monday afternoon in a double shooting that wounded another Atlantic City man, authorities said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — An Atlantic City man was killed Monday afternoon in a double shooting that wounded another Atlantic City man, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Tashawn Manuel, 29, died at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus, where he was taken after he was found suffering from gunshot wounds, Tyner said in a statement.
Another Atlantic City man, who authorities did not identify, was treated at the hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Atlantic City police received 911 calls for reports of a shooting at about 4:04 p.m. on the Unit block S. Florida Avenue.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes and Atlantic City Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are investigating the shooting.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public.
