Coast Guard Rescues 92-Year-Old Man Off Atlantic City Coast

The man was in stable condition when he was taken to AtlantiCare Medical Center.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a 92-year-old man off a fishing boat on Sunday afternoon after he began having cardiac problems, according to a Coast Guard release.

Coast Guard Station Atlantic City was notified about the problem aboard the fishing vessel Fish Finder II, five miles off Atlantic City.

The man was taken off the boat by a rescue boat crew and was brought to Station Atlantic City. He was in stable condition when he transferred by emergency medical services to AtlanticCare Medical Center in Atlantic City.
