Dynamo Recreation Center Offers Teen Night Out

New and improved Dynamo Recreation Center presents Teen Night Out on November 30th. The event is inspired by the hit film, “The Hunger Games” and will feature themed-activities, such as trivia, physical challenges, and food.

Teen Night Out is for ages 12 to 18 and will last from 6PM to 9PM. Admission is $20.

“I’m most excited about the theme,” said Gail Hart, the events coordinator. “Our staff is very creative and has gone all out!”

Several staff members will be in attendance and dressed in character. They will recreate the games and assign participants to their districts.

The center hopes to draw a large crowd to its first teen event. The participants will compete in challenges, such as Katniss archery and cornucopia challenge. Teens will have to earn points to survive.

After playing in the games, teens can enjoy a great feast inspired by the movie. One of the featured foods will be Peeta Mellark’s famous bread.

The event hopes to be a great night for family-oriented fun.
