Memorial Bocce Tournament Set for Saturday in Smithville

The fifth annual Meg Linzner Memorial Bocce Tournament will be held 9 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 12) at the Four Seasons at Smithville's bocce courts in Galloway Township.

Event organizers are looking for both participants and volunteers.

"Since this is the fifth year in hosting the Meg Linzner Memorial Bocce Tournament we would like it to be bigger and better than ever before," according to Krissy Heist Robert. "We are eagerly looking for volunteers to work on our committee to help with auction items, food, registrations and sponsorships. If you are interested in playing in the tournament, the registration fee is $120 for a team of 4 people. This includes a T-shirt, continental breakfast and lunch.
