Oprah's Fave Things Benefits Galloway Woman

Josie Chivalette wasn't there for Oprah's iconic "You get a car! You get a car! Everyone gets a car!" moment. But she's still getting a car from The O.

Chivalette was in the audience for the last "Oprah's Favorite Things" show before the talk show maven ended her program earlier this year, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

On Thursday, Chivalette, who lives in Galloway, will pick up her new car—a 2012 Volkswagen Beetle—at Atlantic Volkswagen in Egg Harbor Township. 

Chivalette won the chance to attend a taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show after persevering through a breast cancer diagnosis and losing her husband, daughter and sister to cancer in the span of a year. A friend nominated Chivalette as a hero for her sheer survival skills in the face of such tragedy, the Press reports.
