• Raccoon found in Galloway confirmed to have rabies (downbeach.com) — Health officials confirmed a raccoon found dead in Galloway Township had rabies, marking Atlantic County’s fourth case last year and the second rabid animal from Galloway. While no human exposures were reported, residents are urged to vaccinate pets, avoid contact with wild animals, secure trash, and call local Animal Control if they see wildlife acting strangely.
