GALLOWAY, NJ β€” New Jerseyans are heading to the polls Tuesday, June 4, to cast their votes in the 2024 Primary Election.

While there's no municipal election in Galloway this year, residents still have the chance to make their voices heard in local and federal elections.

Here's what you need to know before you cast your vote Tuesday.

  • Presidential Election: While Donald Trump and Joe Biden are the presumptive Republican and Democratic nominees, respectively, Democrat voters have other options on the ballot. These include anti-abortion activist Terrisa Bukovinac and "Uncommitted," a pro-Palestine protest vote.
  • U.S. Senate: Justin Murphy, Curtis Bashaw, Albert Harshaw and Christine Serrano Glassner are seeking the Republican nomination. Running as Democrats are Andy Kim, Patricia Campos-Medina and Lawrence Hamm.
  • House of Representatives (2nd Congressional District): Jeff Van Drew seeks the Republican nomination. Carolyn Rush, Joseph F. Salerno, Rodney A. Dean, Sr. and Tim Alexander are seeking the Democratic nomination.
  • County Commissioner-At-Large: Michael Ruffu seeks the Republican nomination and Kim O'Brien seeks the Democratic nomination.
  • Atlantic County Democratic Committee-At-Large: 17 men and 17 women are running and they can be seen on the sample ballot.
