Some Of NJ's Best Steakhouses Are In Atlantic City: Report

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — You don't need to travel far for great food. Some of New Jersey's best steakhouses can be found right here in Atlantic City.

NJ Monthly Magazine released a roundup of the 20 best steakhouses in NJ. And not one, not two, but four are located in Atlantic City.

Featured in the list are American Cut, Knife & Fork Inn, Morton's the Steakhouse and Old Homestead, all of which are in AC or have a location in AC.

Ocean Casino Resort's American Cut was chosen by NJ Monthly as its one of the few places you can find Kagoshima, the famous and luxe Wagyu beef. You can also top any cut of steak with shrimp scampi, and according to NJ Monthly, "the chef, from South Philly, makes a mean shrimp scampi," and it is worth the upcharge.

Knife & Fork Inn was opened in 1912 as a private club for men, but still has some of the best steaks at the shore, according to NJ Monthly. The magazine recommends trying the "novel" sides, especially the house specialty pommes soufflé.

The Atlantic City location of chain restaurant Morton's the Steakhouse inside Caesar's boasts fresh seafood and delicious drinks among its steaks. According to NJ Monthly, it makes quite a luxurious date night.

One of the oldest steakhouses in the country, Old Homestead, has a location in the Borgata that has outlasted Bobby Flay Steak in the casino. NJ Monthly says it serves the finest cuts with excellent service to accompany.
