State Troopers Deliver Baby At NJ Home

BUENA VISTA, NJ — Three New Jersey State Police troopers helped a woman deliver a newborn baby over the weekend.

On Sunday around 2 p.m., troopers responded to a Buena Vista Township home where a woman was in active labor, officials said.

Trooper Pellegrino helped the woman lay down, and Troopers Caporrino and Scarlett gathered clean towels to prepare for the child’s birth. Within minutes of their arrival, the troopers helped deliver a baby girl, officials said.

The mother and baby were taken to Vineland Hospital in good condition, officials said.
