Van Drew, Salerno To Face Off In Debate Set At Stockton University

The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University and The Press of Atlantic City will co-sponsor the Oct. 24 debate.

GALLOWAY, NJ β€” A debate is set for the two major party candidates running for election to the House of Representatives in New Jersey's 2nd congressional district.

The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University and The Press of Atlantic City will co-sponsor the Oct. 24 debate.

The one-hour debate between Republican incumbent Jeff Van Drew and Democratic challenger Joe Salerno will be held at 6 p.m. on the Galloway campus.

The debate will not have a live audience, but it will be livestreamed on the Hughes Center’s YouTube page and on The Press’ website.

Members of the public can submit potential questions for the candidates by going to the Hughes Center’s website or emailing The Press of Atlantic City at newstips@pressofac.com and put β€œCD2 Questions” in the subject line.

Panelists Nicholas Huba, digital editor for The Press, and Alyssa Maurice, director of Research for the Hughes Center, will pose questions to the candidates.
