$1M Lottery Ticket Sold At Camden County Convenience Store

Check your pockets: a $1 million-winning lottery ticket was sold at a convenience store in Camden County for Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — A lottery ticket sold at a convenience store in Camden County has made one person $1 million richer Thursday morning.

Speed Mart, at 54 Park Boulevard in Clementon, sold a Powerball ticket that is now worth $1 million after Wednesday night’s drawing, the New Jersey Lottery announced Thursday morning.

The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, landing its buyer the second-tier prize. The winning numbers were 12, 18, 20, 29, and 30. The Red Power Ball number was 16. The Multiplier number was 03.

It is the third $1 million lottery ticket that has been sold in Camden County this year. The others were in Pennsauken, Sicklerville and Gibbsboro.

In Wednesday night’s drawing, two other New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. One of those tickets was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $150,000. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Hudson County ($150,000: Te-Amo, 1504 Patterson Plank Rd., Secaucus; and,
  • Passaic County ($50,000): Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Tpke., Hewitt.

In all, 30,491 New Jersey players took home an estimated $177,387 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $258,000,000 for the next drawing to be held at 10:59 p.m. Saturday night.
