Established Program Serves Heart Patients in Camden County, N.J.

Berlin Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center welcomes Kimberly Borkowski MSN, ANP, APN-C, an experienced clinician who is supporting the skilled nursing facility’s established Cardiac Care program. Located at 100 Long-A-Coming Lane in Berlin, the center provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

A certified advanced nurse practitioner, Borkowski has an extensive background serving the cardiac population in subacute rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers. In addition to her cardiac care expertise, she is trained as a surgical trauma ICU nurse. She has worked in both hospital and outpatient settings during her career of more than 20 years.

Berlin’s cardiac rehab services focus on promoting independence and quality of life through reducing symptoms and decreasing disability in heart patients. Cardiac rehab is designed to assist individuals suffering from challenging or life-threatening heart conditions, including those recovering from a cardiac event or surgical procedure, and those at risk for cardiovascular disease.
