Boy, 4, Airlifted After Pickup Truck Strikes Him At South Jersey Campground: Police
The boy was riding a pedal toy vehicle at a low speed in the roadway, authorities said.
VINELAND, NJ — A boy was airlifted to the hospital after a pickup truck struck him Thursday on a South Jersey campground, authorities said.
A man was driving north through Malaga Campground in Vineland when his 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck hit the boy around 4:40 p.m., police said. The boy, 4, was riding a pedal toy vehicle in the roadway at a low speed.
The child sustained serious injuries and was flown to Cooper Trauma Center with family. His condition wasn't immediately available.

No charges have been filed as of Friday morning.
