Charlie the Chow Needs a Home

He's the Gloucester Township Patch/NJ Aid for Animals Pet of the Week.

He has been in a kennel for months. Very handsome lab/chow mix, approximately  5 years,  neutered and housebroken.

As a puppy, he was adopted to an elderly gentleman who ultimately was no longer able to take care of him. Then in a home where he was loved, but his owners were concerned about his size around the young children.

Charlie loves squeaky toys, carrying socks around, and burying bones. He barks at dogs on TV and is a great watchdog. He knows the give paw and sit commands.  He walks well on a leash and likes to play tug with it occasionally.

Charlie will thrive with a calm, firm owner that is consistent and confident as Charlie is  loyal, well-mannered, strong-willed, yet patient and polite. Fine with cats.  Call 856 728 0911 or info@njafa.org
