UPDATE: No Injuries In Crash That Partially Closed Atlantic City Expressway

Several lanes were closed off in the crash area Friday morning.

Update, 9:45 a.m. Friday: A State Police spokesperson told Patch the crash happened at 7:13 a.m., when one eastbound vehicle rear-ended another.

There were no injuries reported at the scene, the spokesperson said.

The prior report that there had been injuries came from 511NJ, the state's traffic website.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A crash with injuries has led to lane closures Friday morning on the Atlantic City Expressway, officials said.

The crash is impacting the highway's eastbound side in Winslow Township — in the area east of Exit 38 to County Route 536, according to 511NJ.

The eastbound right lane and shoulder are closed as of this writing, 511NJ says.

Officials urged drivers to move over for highway workers.
