Crashes Shut Down Highways During Stormy Day In South Jersey
Several incidents led to highway closures. Here's the latest on South Jersey's roadways.

SOUTH JERSEY — Several crashes shut down multiple South Jersey highways Thursday as stormy weather moves through the area.
Route 130 will be shut down in both directions for some time because of a crash under investigation in Pennsauken, police said Thursday afternoon. The crash happened at the intersection with Browning Road.

Interstate 295 North has one lane open after a tractor-trailer jackknifed in Mount Laurel. The northbound side was shut down earlier.
Some highways have fully or partially reopened. But drivers may see delays and should exercise caution.

Here are some of the current impacts, according to 511NJ:
- Interstate 295: A jackknifed tractor-trailer was reported around noon on I-295 North in Mount Laurel. One lane has reopened in the area approaching Exit 40 to Route 38.
- Route 130: A crash shut down both sides of Route 130 at Browning Road in Pennsauken. Authorities are on-scene investigating.
- Route 73: A crash happened on Route 73 at Lincoln Drive in Evesham. One lane is closed in each direction on the highway.
- Route 42: The northbound side is partially closed in Washington Township — in the area north of the Atlantic City Expressway.
- Route 206: Flooding is impacting traffic in both directions on Route 206 in Bordentown Township. The shoulders are closed on both sides.
Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:
- Thursday afternoon: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. High near 64. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
- Thursday night: Showers likely, mainly before 7 p.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 45. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
- Friday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 57. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
- Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
