Driver Hit Car, Fled Scene: Gloucester Township Police
Gloucester Township police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that damaged another car.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that damaged another car late last month.
A silver Acura SUV hit a parked car from behind on East Batten Avenue by the Old Black Horse Pike in the Hilltop Section of Gloucester Township at 2:48 p.m. on Oct. 28, according to police.
The driver then backed up, and fled towards the Black Horse Pike, police said. The Acura’s front grill was left behind, and the car may now be displaying a white New Jersey temporary tag on the back, police said.

East Batton Avenue, and other parallel streets nearby, are commonly used to cut down for drivers avoiding the intersection at the Old Black Horse Pike and Black Horse Pike/ Rt 42 off ramp, police said.
