PATCO

PATCO has released its modified schedule for parade day, offering nonstop service from South Jersey's stations to 9/10th & Locust St. Buying tickets in advance is recommended.

Keep in mind that from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., PATCO will operate westbound only from four New Jersey stations: Lindenwold, Woodcrest, Ferry Avenue and City Hall. This will allow trains to arrive in Philadelphia every 5 minutes.

From 1-7 p.m., PATCO will shift to eastbound-only service from 9/10th & Locust Street.

Normal service will resume at 7 p.m. Friday. Find more details here.

NJ Transit

Here's how NJ Transit is adjusting for parade day.

Rail

  • Limited additional capacity will be added to select existing Atlantic City Rail Line trains.
  • An extra train will operate between Atlantic City and Philadelphia 30th Street Station, leaving Atlantic City at 7:35 a.m. and arriving in Philadelphia at 9:14 a.m.
  • An extra train will depart Philadelphia at 3:54 p.m. and reach Atlantic City at 5:36 p.m.

Bus

  • Before 8 a.m., all Philadelphia bus routes will have regular routing. All morning service on Routes 414, 417 and 555 will go to 30th Street Station as scheduled.
  • From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., all Philadelphia bus services will be adjusted because of street closures and will make a single stop in Center City Philadelphia at 6th/Race Street. While this adjusted service is operating, customers should plan to be at 6th/Race Street at the arrival times shown on the timetable.
  • During evening peak period, Routes 414, 417 and 555 will not board at 30th Street Station. Customers must go to the 6th/Race Street stop and use the existing Market/7th Street departure time shown on their timetable for guidance.
  • After 7 p.m., all Philadelphia service will be restored to regular routing.

River Line

  • A bus service will augment the current River Line service.

Access Link

  • Access Link will cancel all trips to and from Philadelphia.

What About Driving?

Driving is strongly discouraged. And even if you drive into the city, there will be loads of street closures and parking restrictions.

SEPTA is encouraging everyone to take public transportation.

Parade Route

The parade starts at 11 a.m. by the stadiums (Broad Street and Pattison Avenue). It will then travel north on Broad, go around Philadelphia City Hall and LOVE Park, down the Ben Franklin Parkway, and end at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
