Gloucester City Home Search Finds Heroin, Crack, Illegal Gun: Police
The bust, which led to charges against one man, was the result of a narcotics distribution investigation in the city, police said.
GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ - A probe of a Gloucester City residence this week found several drugs allegedly for intended sale, as well as drug paraphernalia, a defaced firearm, hollow nose bullets and a 30-round magazine, authorities said.
The bust, the result of a narcotics distribution investigation by Gloucester City detectives and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department Emergency Response Team, occurred on the 300 block of Essex Street and resulted in the arrest of Jacques Davis, 25, of Gloucester City, Gloucester City police said in a statement.
Davis was charged with maintaining/operating a CDS production facility, possession of CDS with intent to distribute (heroin, crack, cocaine, crack cocaine and methamphetamine), unlawful possession of a weapon and related offenses.

Davis was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing, police said.
