GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Council will introduce a proposed ordinance setting the salaries for specific officers and employees of the township when it meets Monday night.

The proposal sets the maximum salary for the mayor at $52,000 a year, while the council president would make $8,261 and the council vice president would make $8,089. Each remaining council member would make $7,917.

A regular agenda item to be considered proposes $1,172,000 in budget transfers due to expected deficiencies in some budget appropriations for the rest of the year.
