New School Ratings For Schools In Gloucester Twp., Black Horse Pike
Overall, Niche gave the Black Horse Pike district a higher grade than Gloucester Township's. Here are the grades for each school.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Black Horse Pike has Camden County's fifth-best school system, according to a new report. The Gloucester Township district, however, ranked lower in Niche's 2024 Best Schools and Districts.
The rankings released last week place the Black Horse Pike Regional School District at 139th out of 245 qualifying districts in New Jersey. Niche gave the district a B grade overall.
Meanwhile, the Gloucester Township School District received a C-plus. Ratings varied for individual schools in each district (view their grades below).

The Niche.com rankings, which have been out for the past nine years, compare K–12 schools and districts across the United States. The website combines input from current students, alumni and parents with hard data from sources including the U.S. Department of Education.

Niche said its rankings were created to provide families with valuable information—both quantitative and qualitative—on schools in their area or in a neighborhood they’re not familiar with yet.
Niche's rankings differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that they also include input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.
The highest-rated schools districts in Camden County were Haddonfield (A-plus), Cherry Hill (A-minus), Haddon Township (B-plus) and Haddon Heights (B-plus).
