Gloucester Twp. Man Charged With Child Porn Distribution: Police
A Gloucester Township man was arrested on child pornography charges after the execution of a search warrant at his home Wednesday.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Gloucester Township man has been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography after police executed a search warrant at his home on Wednesday.
The investigation into 65-year-old Francis McGrath Jr. began with a tip from National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in March, Gloucester Township police said on Wednesday.
An investigation conducted by Gloucester Township police in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations (Cherry Hill Office) and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office (High Tech Crimes Unit) concluded with the execution of the search warrant on Wednesday, police said.

During that search, police said detectives seized multiple electronic devices from the residence to be analyzed for additional forensic evidence.
McGrath was charged with second-degree distribution of child pornography and third-degree possession of child pornography, police said. He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.

“The detectives of the Gloucester Township Police Department have gone through extensive training with the New Jersey State Police, partnering with the New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force,” police said in a statement. “Tips in reference to child pornography are received from several different agencies and social media sites, which are then disseminated to the local ICAC task forces. The Gloucester Township Police Department’s continuing local, state, and federal partnerships assist in arresting and prosecuting child predators.”
