With just about a month to go until Gloucester Township schools are back in session, here’s a look at important dates in the 2013-14 school calendar.

Sept. 6: First day of school for students

Nov. 5-8: Schools closed for Election Day, teacher in-service and the NJEA convention

Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving break

Dec. 24-Jan. 1: Schools closed for winter break

Jan. 2: Schools reopen

Jan. 20: Schools closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Feb. 17: Schools closed for Presidents Day

April 18-22: Spring break

May 23 and 26: Schools closed for Memorial Day

June 12: Last day of school (tentatively; emergency closings may result in days added to the school year)
