GoFundMe For Slain NJ Detective's Family As Investigation Continues
Det. Sgt. Monica Mosley was fatally shot last week while her home was invaded, authorities said. No arrests have been announced.

BRIDGETON, NJ — An online fundraiser is raising money for the family of a South Jersey detective who was killed last week.
The GoFundMe supports Sgt. Monica Mosley's children and grandchildren. It was created by Local PBA 396, which represents the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office, where she worked.
Mosley, 51, was fatally shot Oct. 15 in her Bridgeton home, where multiple suspects kicked in the front door and broke in, authorities said.

No arrests have been announced as of this writing. One person was detained for questioning hours after Mosley was killed. But days later, authorities said that no suspects were in custody.
The GoFundMe will assist Mosley's family with immediate expenses and in navigating the days ahead, according to Local PBA 396.

Mosley join the prosecutor's office in 2006 as a paralegal specialist. She became a county detective three years later.
County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae called Mosley "a constant friend and role model for all those with whom she served and led in the law enforcement community throughout Cumberland County and beyond."
A viewing and funeral will take place Saturday at Bridgeton High School.
