Hit-And-Run Kills Sicklerville Man; Search On For Fleeing Driver: Police

The victim was found lying in the roadway in a residential neighborhood.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A hit-and-run that killed a Sicklerville man this past weekend in Winslow Township is under investigation, police said Monday.

The victim, Jon R. Kitzmiller II, was found lying in the roadway just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Andrews Road by Lehigh Manor Drive, police said.

Kitzmiller, 36, was treated and stabilized at the scene. He was driven to Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police believe the vehicle struck Kitzmiller while he was walking westbound in the middle of the roadway, which travels through a residential neighborhood.

No description of the striking vehicle was available on Monday morning.
